General Restorative Work
Our office provides a wide range of general restorative work. From crown and bridgework to esthetic fillings, we are experienced with the techniques, tools and technologies required to ensure the longevity of your dental hygiene. If you’ve noticed the onset of painful gums, sensitive areas or yellowed teeth, contact our team today. We promise that we’ll give you something to smile about!
On Site Teeth Whitening
Your smile is one of the first things that people notice about you. Our on-site teeth whitening offers the fastest, most economical way to immediately improve the quality of your smile. Using a protective barrier to safeguard your gums, we apply a high-grade hydrogen peroxide gel. After it is removed, your smile is instantly, distinctively enhanced.
Root Canals
Root canals are typically required when an infection or inflammation occurs in the pulp tissue of the tooth. While they are generally thought of as the most painful of dental procedures, root canals are rarely more unpleasant than getting a filling. More importantly, a timely root canal can prevent the need for other, more involved dental treatments.
Crowns
Dental crowns are small caps that cover damaged, defective or decayed teeth. Typically used when a tooth is fractured in a way that compromises its overall integrity, crowns strengthen the tooth and allow them to work normally. By utilizing modern porcelains, we are able to create crowns that complement – or improve! – your smile.
Bridges
When a tooth is missing, it is possible to create a replacement by using a bridge. A bridge is created by placing crowns over the healthy teeth that are adjacent to the missing tooth. In this way, the two crowns can support a third crown in between them to “bridge” the gap created by the missing tooth. Bridges are possible even if several teeth are missing in a row, as the number of crowns between the adjacent teeth can simply be increased.
Dentures
Properly fitted dentures are nearly indistinguishable from your natural teeth. While dentures can help to restore the brilliance of your smile and raise your self-confidence, even more surprising is that they can provide support to the facial skeleton and soft tissues, giving you a more youthful appearance. Whether you need full or partial dentures, our staff can work with you, examine your situation and determine the best possible solution.
Restorative Implants
Restorative implants are the most effective way to replace missing teeth. With an unprecedented success rate of over 90%, implants provide a dependable, lasting result that will not only enhance the beauty of your smile but will help maintain – and often boost – your level of dental health. Once installed, implants require little to no additional maintenance other than your normal, everyday oral hygiene routine.
General Cleaning
Over time, your teeth will build up a layer of plaque and tartar that can lead to tooth decay and gum disease. A complete cleaning can go a long way towards preserving your dental health. After a thorough examination, we polish and clean your teeth to a radiant shine. The benefits, however, aren’t only cosmetic! By removing the plaque buildup, we help to ensure that your teeth will stay bright, happy and, above all else, healthy.
Children’s Dentistry
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that all children should have their first dental checkup by the age of one. With the natural fear that children have of dentistry, this is no easy feat! Our staff is not only trained on how to perform compassionate, thorough examinations but on how to reassure and comfort children during their first dental visits.
Nitrous Oxide
Some patients, especially children, are simply too nervous to sit through a full dental procedure. In these cases, we offer conscious sedation via nitrous oxide to relieve stress, lower anxiety and allow for proper dental care. As it has no effect on bodily functions and wears off within minutes, nitrous oxide is a safe, reliable way to treat anxious patients.
